Our Team : Raine Devries

Raine Devries has an extensive background on the business side of the entertainment industry producing projects for broadcast, print, and online mediums as well in-person and virtual events.

 

Some of the projects she has been involved with include working with Eric Clapton and Johnny Depp for the 2019 CROSSROADS Guitar Festival, managing all Special Projects and Media Relations for the national nonprofit Snowball Express, to producing virtual events for America's Future Series featuring Sir Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos.

 

Additionally, she has been a nationally recognized journalist and editor in the V-Twin realm of the motorcycle industry for more than 18 years.

Raine is in high demand for management services of events and her expertise includes executing small-scale functions of 60 - 500 attendees for corporate functions, nonprofit fundraisers, wedding ceremonies and receptions through her work handling all special events at the historic Kessler Theater for more than three years as well as working in event sales at the world-renowned Perot Museum of Nature and Science during their first year of operations. 

 

She also brings a unique skill set to any team due to her expertise in serving as the lead - or working on teams - for planning, executing, and managing high profile festivals and rallies including:
 

  • Broadcast Team Key Production Assistant for Eric Clapton's CROSSROADS concerts at American Airlines Center (2019); managed 13 PA's and Drivers over the course of 8 days on split schedules as part of a 151-person team for the pay-per-view shows.
     

  • Building Manager for Earth X at Fair Park (2019); Managed both the Grand Building for the Auto Show and the Tower Building for the "Hackathon".
     

  • Conceptualizing and managing the "Kid Zone" for the City of Dallas's Fair Park Fourth festival which served more than 2,000 children
     

  • Managing all functions of Seawall Boulevard for the Lone Star Rally, an event that attracts approximately 500,000 motorcyclists to Galveston Island
     

  • Managing all food vendors for the North Texas Irish Festival; attracts more than 60,000 attendees
     

  • Management team for Deck the Plaza at Dallas City Hall Plaza, sourced vendors, drafted winning proposal (2019).
     

  • Management team for New Year's Eve at Dallas City Hall Plaza for VisitDallas (2019)

Motorcycle Journalist

Raine is currently a columnist covering the Texas scene for Thunder Press Magazine, contributing writer to Ride Texas Magazine, and the news blog for Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorney.

Background

 

With tens of thousands of followers on social media, her unique background includes a five-year relationship with Warner Music Group (WMG) where she worked in the capacity of Tour Publicity / Media Relations with major touring artists.

​

The next chapter of Raine's professional life saw her as co-owner / Director of Operations for Mistral Design Group (MDG) which was an award-winning Internet design and development company whose clientele included the State of Texas, PBS, Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, New York Giants, and several high profile entertainers.

Raine and her team were awarded three Clarion Awards for producing the first fully bi-lingual Internet site on PBS.org.

​

It was during her time with MDG that Raine purchased her Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider. After selling the company, she was asked to get involved with projects in the motorcycle industry including facilitating celebrity appearances at major rallies, publicity, sponsorship sales, and media relations. She was also recruited to be the editor for a motorcycle magazine that was distributed throughout Texas and began working with ITV (London) on producing programming on the American motorcycle scene for European viewing audiences.
